Detailed information about becoming a member is on the Membership page in the About SEEC menu

Terms and conditions

  • Membership runs from the 1st September to 31st August, normally. Someone who joins part-way through an academic year will be charged a pro-rata fee, and all discounts will apply from that date onwards (ie. there would be no retrospective discounts for seminars, etc).
  • Membership of this professional group assumes a reciprocal relationship, in that individuals and nominated representatives will openly share ideas, experiences, thoughts and challenges, for the development of the body of knowledge around academic credit, in exchange for support and the collegiate experience. Where SEEC research activities are shared projects, due acknowledgement will be given to all active participants, with courtesy.
  • Membership of SEEC does not entitled colleagues to preferential treatment in situations where there is open competition, such as tendering for SEEC Projects, consultancy roles, publications, promotion, etc.

If you are applying to join as an individual, you can check if your institution is already a member.
