SEEC Professional Development seminars 2008-2009

In the academic year 2008-2009 SEEC ran two Professional Development events

  • Moving Forward -  Tuesday 11 November 2008
  • Credit Beyond Europe. Monday 1 May 2009

as well as an extended Conference and a series of consultation events for Members, around the SEEC Level Descriptors, with a view to revising them.

The seminars' papers, workshops and case studies, archived through the menu to the left, are available to all to engage with the proceedings, to download presentations, and read the conclusions from each session.

In addition, the full complement of papers around credit in England, Wales, Scotland and the rest of Europe were made available. These can now be accessed through the Introduction to Academic Credit page under the Academic Credit tab on the top menu.

Our thanks are due to the professional colleagues who have prepared the material and given their permission for its use on the SEEC website. Please respect the intellectual copyright of the authors of the papers attached here, and please make proper reference to them if you use the material for academic purposes, including for teaching and research.

If you did not attend the Professional Development Event for which you would like to get the material, please let the SEEC Office know which papers you have downloaded, and for what purpose, so that we can let the authors know of your interest. This will enable us to monitor its use, and to contact you, if necessary, to carry out research and evaluation about the topic.

If you need to contact us about any of the presentations linked to the above titles, please email the SEEC Administrator, office@seec.org.uk
