of UWE, giving the keynote speech in memory of Rod Coleman, a
previous SEEC Chair

Margaret Mill (and Mike McDonagh), Napier, Edinburgh,
explaining the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework
Following
the publication of the Burgess report and the developments in
Europe, the SEEC Annual Conference once again provided a venue
where academic and practitioner colleagues, including registry
and admissions, from higher and further education, professional
bodies and quality agencies could meet.
The
conference launched with a keynote presentation on the Burgess
report and the subsequent developments. This was followed by two
sets of parallel workshops/discussion groups to facilitate the
exchange of experience and ideas in a friendly and mutually supportive
environment.
