Survey of UK Credit Practice

UK Credit Forum, current survey

The UK Credit Forum, of which SEEC is a member, is undertaking a survey of current UK practice in relation to credit and its use at HE level.  This will be the first survey to encompass England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland although there have been earlier surveys in England and Wales most recently in 2004. The survey asks about practice in the awarding, recognition and recording of credit. It also asks about the credit requirements for the qualifications on offer and the assessment criteria and marking schemes that apply. The aim is to gather information on the range of practice and perhaps identify most common practice.

The survey is currently underway and the outcomes will be available in the Autumn of this year.  SEEC members will gain access to the full results and future SEEC events will explore the outcomes of this survey in more detail.
